2025: Kunukunuma to Host Year End Amasuo-Ugeh Festival Dec. 22–24, invites general public

The good people of Kunukunuma Federated Community in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West LGA of Delta State, under the Executive leadership of the Capt. Friday Denkeden and the distinguished chairmanship of Chief Pascal Okirika, invites all sons and daughters as well as the general public to its End of Year Amasuo-Ugeh Festival 2025 celebration, billed for Monday, December 22 to Wednesday, December 24, 2025.

Among the plethora of guests expected at the event include the Pere, HRM Oboro Gbaraun II (JP), Aketekpe, Agadagba (Royal Father of the Day), High Chief Dr. Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo; High Chief (Dr.) Wellington O. Okirika JP, the Bolowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom; Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly.

According to the Planning Committee Chairman and the Secretary, Chief Moses Bebenimibo (JP) and Dr. Abraham Tebiano, respectively, revealed that the festival, which is billed to hold in the Kunukunuma Community Playground, will open with a prayer programme from 9:00am on Monday, December 20 to Tuesday, December 21.

Guest speakers of the occasion expected at the prayer programme are Apostle Sylvester Newman Bebenimibo, Founder/Senior Pastor of Word of Salvation Bible Life Ministries Int'l Inc., and Bishop Dr. Godwyns Soroaye JP, who also doubles as Spiritual Father of the Day.

They further revealed that, for the purpose of entertainment, there will be side attractions and games including Tug of War, Traditional Ijaw Cooking and Traditional dance competitions, among others.

They invite the general public, especially sons and daughters of Kunukunuma to join in the festivities, particularly in the prayer programme to lend their voices in prayers for the development and growth of the riverine community.
