2026: Ogulagha Kingdom youths unveil 2-day Conference
The Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council (OKYC) in Ogulagha Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, led by its President Comrade Roland Dede, has unveiled its 2026 Youth Conference with the theme "Entrepreneurship and Technological Advancement".
The youth Conference was unveiled by the OKYC President in Ogulagha Town, on Sunday, January 11, 2026.
In an official statement released by the OKYC on Monday, the youth body said the youth Conference will hold 10:00am daily in Ogulagha Community Town Hall from Friday 23 to Saturday 24 January 2026.
The Conference will feature Keynote speakers on the theme, which according to the youth Council, is aimed at creating in the youths more awareness on technological tools and how they can commercialise tech innovations for the advancement of the community and kingdom development.
Comrade Dede also revealed that among other activities, there will be a drug campaign rally across the kingdom, ahead of the programme, to sensitize youths on the dangers of drug abuse.
"The Ogulagha Kingdom Youth Council's two-day Conference is one of the series of programmes in 2026 put together by the Council as a way of engaging and uplifting the youths of the kingdom.
"We are going to have professional guest speakers that will give professional lectures on the technological and on the entrepreneurship aspect of the theme to help create more awareness on latest tech tools and opportunities they offer for self- and kingdom advancement," he added.
The OKYC called on Ogulagha youths to get prepared to take advantage of the opportunities the Conference will offer them.
