Emotions took center stage at the surprise 62nd Birthday celebration of High Chief Amb. Godspower T.D.A. Gbenekama (JP) PhD, when some of the celebrant's children paid glowing tributes in honour of their iconic father, who is the Fiyewei of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom in the Warri South-West LGA of Delta State, on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Paying tributes on the occasion of their father's birthday are Miss Tarelayefa Jade Gbenekama, Miss Constance Gbenekama, Master Ebiseizigha Blossom Gbenekama, and Master Fiyewei Benny-Roy Gbenekama.

During the presentation of one of the daughters, a mild drama unfolds as she was overcome with emotions prompting the celebrant to reach out to her to give her a hug. The presentation also got the celebrant emotional as he hugged his children mid-way during the tribute session.
