AMABO-UGEH FESTIVAL 2026: Igoba Federated Community Appreciates Sponsors, Stakeholders
The leadership of Igoba Federated Community in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, use this medium to tender its profound gratitude to sponsors and other stakeholders of the community on the success recorded at the annual Amabo-Ugeh Festival, which held in the community on Thursday, January 1, 2026.
Indeed, the success recorded did not come by chance, but through God's divine grace and the efforts put in by others which paid off in the end. It therefore behoves on us the need to tender this note of appreciation as a show of our indepth gratitude.
First, to the Almighty God we give all the glory for making the day possible and for the gift of life to make us all to see the dawn of another New Year. Our gratitude also goes to Him for His divine strength to embark on such a celebration, and for His protection and provisions during the event.
Secondly, we greet our traditional father and the custodian of our cultural heritage, His Royal Majesty Oboro Gbaraun II (JP), Aketekpe, Agadagba, Pere of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, the Pere of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, for the sacrificial roles he has been playing and for his steadfast prayers for the prosperity and peace in the kingdom. We love you and pray the Almighty God strengthens and blesses you with more wisdom and riches.
Thirdly, we duly appreciate our foremost leaders in the kingdom for their untiring efforts to transform the various communities in the kingdom through acts that have continued to unite the people and create in them a common sense of purpose towards its development. We therefore say THANK YOU to the Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL) and the Ibe Ebidouwei of Izon Nation, High Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo; the Chairman of Maton Engineering Nigeria Limited, Mr. Matthew Tonlagha; the Managing Director of TSSNL, High Chief (Engr.) Kestin Pondi, FNSE.
Our gratitude also goes to the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor; Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, High Chief (Dr.) Dennis Brutu Otuaro; the General Manager, Operations, TSSNL, Chief Godfrey Tare Pondi; the Torupuwei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, High Chief Anthony Ayebibode; the Woniwei of ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Chief Matthew Pudie, among several others.
Lastly, we salute the entire elders, chiefs, women, and youths of Igoba Federated Community for their commitment, cooperation and efforts toward giving our guests an hospitable experience as well as making the celebration a unique one. Also, gratitude goes to the Planning Committee chaired by General Naiye Dude and Secretary, Apst. Stephen Epiri Uyas, for doing a marvelous job in organising the festival.
