All is now set for the launch of the new book, titled: 'Understanding Christian Maturity', authored by Dcn. Joel Ekpebide, a native of Okerenkoko Federated Community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State.

The book launch, billed to hold 10:00am at the Wetland Event Center along Orhuwhorun Road in the Udu council area of Delta State, has a line up of top guests from the Christian, academic and business community set to grace the historic event on Saturday, August 16, 2025.

Leading the Christian community at the book launch as the Father of the Day is the General Overseer of Dominion Zion ministry, His Grace, Archbishop Dr. Amb. Philip Tonfawei (JP); and the minister in charge of Bibopere Zion ministry, Snr. Boan. Amb. Peter Ebieride German (JP) as Chief Host, among other ministers.

Others are Engr. Michael Tonlagha and Hon. Beauty Warejouwei as Chairman and Chairlady of the event, Chief (Comrade) Dr. Amb. Sheriff Mulade as Chief Launcher, and Dr. Paul Boyitie as Book Reviewer, with Dr. Charles Apoki, an internet personality, public speaker and consultant; and Dr. Alfred Mulade, a former Registrar of the Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko, as keynote speakers at the event.

Among the Special Guest of Honour are Chief (Amb.) Jeffrey Ojogun, Chief Hon. Simeon Bebenimibo (JP), Chief Hon. Akpos Kingsley Oturubo, Bishop Friday Inaigbagha, Chief Peter Bubor, Pst. James Ikare Christmas (JP), Apst. David Bolei Oturubo, Dcns. (Mrs.) Preye Keniye, Mrs. Kazeem Juliet Puke, and Comr. Bolei Juliet Seiyefa.

The host and author of 'Understanding Christian Maturity', Dcn. Joel Ekpebide, who describes himself as "a teacher of the Word of God, a promoter and advancer of the Kingdom of God in all endeavours, a vision driving passionate soul in promoting unity in the body of Christ" said the general public is invited to the book launch that should not be missed.

Among some of the landmark Christian achievements of the author include serving as one of the pioneers in the establishment of a Bible Institute—a training arm in Bibopere Zion Church ministry, also known as Solution Center in Okerenkoko community.

Dcn. Ekpebide is also a leader who has held various impactful leadership positions, both in churches and in his hometown where he hails from in Gbaramatu Kingdom. He is currently the Secretary General of Okoyitoru Community (Makaraba Field), an oil-rich community in Gbaramatu Kingdom.

Among other positions he has occupied are Secretary General of Bibopere Zion Youth, Assistant Secretary of National Association of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Public Relations Officer of Okerenkoko Federated Community, Public Relations Officer of Zion Youth Movement, Working Committee; Coordinator of The Crown Church of Zion.

The author of the upcoming book, 'Understanding Christian Maturity', is happily married to Mrs. Ebiere Joel Ekpebide and the union is blessed with wonderful children.
