Benikrukru community announces new date for general meeting

The Executive Council of oil-rich Benikrukru Community in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West local government area of Delta State, has announced the new date for its general meeting as Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

This announcement follows the postponement of the earlier scheduled general meeting previously slated for Thursday, October 30, 2025.

The change of date is contained in a Notice of Postponement of Meeting that was signed by the community Chairman, Comr. Joel Tonjoh; and the Secretary, Dr. Paul Boyitie.

Part of the statement reads, "This is to inform all sons and daughters of Benikrukru Community that the General Meeting earlier scheduled to hold on October 30, 2025, has been postponed to November 4, 2025, due to some other pressing community activities.

"We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and appreciate your understanding," the statement added.

According to further information, the general meeting will hold at the new scheduled date by 10:00am in the Benikrukru Community Town Hall.

There will be free boats at the Ogbe-Ijoh King Waterfront near NPA in Warri by 7:30am to convey members of the community to the meeting venue.
