EDUCATION: EBF Unveils 'Street 2 School Legacy Project 2026'

The Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation (EBF) founded by Dcn. Ernest Bebenimibo, has announced the forthcoming launch of the Street 2 School Legacy Project 2026, a humanitarian education initiative aimed at promoting access to quality education and supporting children in underserved communities.

The announcement, made through the Foundation's official WhatsApp and Facebook page on Monday, July 20, highlights the organisation's commitment to empowering young people through education under its motto, "Empowering People, Transforming Communities."

The project is expected to provide educational materials to pupils and students while encouraging school enrolment and improving learning opportunities for disadvantaged children.

According to the Founder, a native of Okerenkoko community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, the initiative is designed to make a lasting impact by focusing on four key objectives: providing educational materials, supporting pupils and students in underserved communities, promoting access to quality education, and building a brighter future for children.

The campaign, tagged "Street 2 School Legacy Project 2026," and running with the inspiring message, "Education Today, Leaders Tomorrow," underscores the Foundation's belief that education remains one of the most effective tools for transforming lives and communities, and reflects its vision of nurturing future leaders through learning.

The Foundation noted that the project will reach vulnerable children who face barriers to accessing education, reinforcing its commitment to ensuring that every child has an opportunity to learn, grow, and realise their full potential.

The Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation reaffirmed its dedication to humanitarian service, stating that it remains focused on "Touching Lives One Person At A Time," while continuing to champion initiatives that promote education, hope, and sustainable community development.

"Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, dream, and succeed. Through the Street 2 School Legacy Project 2026, the Ernest Bebenimibo Foundation is committed to putting smiles on the faces of pupils and students by providing essential educational materials and supporting quality education in our communities. Together, let's invest in the future—because education is the foundation of lasting change," Bebenimibo stated.

As anticipation builds ahead of the official launch, stakeholders, community leaders, parents, and development partners are expected to rally behind the initiative, which seeks to leave a lasting legacy in the education sector.
