EDUCATION: League of Head Teachers, Principals, Teachers commend Aketekpe, Tompolo, other stakeholders in Gbaramatu

The League of Head Teachers, Principals and Teachers association in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, has commended the traditional ruler of the kingdom, HRM Oboro-Gbaraun II (JP), Aketekpe, Agadagba; Niger Delta foremost leader, High Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (Tompolo), the Comr. Egbejule Arerebo Kingsley-led Gbaramatu Youth Council (GYC) and other stakeholders for "the long standing cordial working relationship and support" they have received from them over the years.

The commendation of the League of Head Teachers, Principals and Teachers in Gbaramatu Kingdom is contained in a statement of appreciation that was signed by the Principal of Kokodiagbene Secondary School, Kokodiagbene, Mrs Adeghoro Bridget; Head Teacher of Oboro Primary School, Benikrukru, Comrade Ogwara Gabriel O. and Secretary of the League, Rev. (Dr.) Oreva Idudhe, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

The association also convey its appreciation to the chairmen and their executive members in all communities in the kingdom for their cooperation and support as direct hosts to teachers and schools.

The League, buoyed by the support from the Gbaramatu communities' stakeholders, promised to not relent in contributing their quota to building a generation of future leaders to the envy of all in society.

The statement reads, "The League of Head Teachers, Principals and Teachers in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, wish to convey our profound appreciation to His Royal Majesty, Oboro-Gbaraun II (JP), Aketekpe, Agadagba, the Pere of the ancient Gbaramatu-Kingdom, and to our great leader, High Chief (Dr.) Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (Tompolo).

"We also convey our greetings to the Gbaramatu Youth Council (GYC) ably led by Comrade Kingsley Arerebo Egbejule and all the community Chairmen and their excos for the long standing cordial working relationship and support to the primary and the secondary schools in the ancient Kingdom under the Creek Child Education Initiative.

"Our prayer is to bring out the best in our learners (pupils and students) and build a generation that will be the envy of ALL in the nearest future!

"God bless your efforts and keep you all in good health as we continue to partner onward."
