The umbrella body of female graduates in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, the Association of Gbaramatu Female Graduates (AGFG), has announced plans to collate the names of female graduates from the riverine kingdom into its database for career opportunities and effective welfare planning.

The announcement is contained in a notice of general monthly meeting signed by its President, Comrade (Mrs.) Glory Otutufegha, who disclosed that attendance is compulsory for all female graduates from Gbaramatu Kingdom.

According to the AGFG, the collation exercise will take place during the Association’s meeting scheduled for Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the Egbema/Gbaramatu Communities Development Council along Airport Road, Effurun, Delta State.

Speaking on the development, the Association's Public Relations Officer, Dekawei Timi Vera, said the database will provide the Association with a reliable record of its members, enabling it to identify qualified female graduates for relevant career opportunities, professional development programmes and other beneficial engagements.

"We are trying to collate our database for female graduate in Gbaramatu Kingdom. So the highlight of the meeting is our database collation as it is important for every female graduate to be documented for career opportunities and otherwise," she said.

She revealed that the initiative will also strengthen the Association’s capacity to plan and coordinate welfare interventions for members, including the timely dissemination of information, support during critical moments and the development of programmes that meet members’ needs.

Members were urged to be punctual, come prepared for productive deliberations on other issues, and to inform other eligible Gbaramatu female graduates.
