HYPREP APPOINTMENT: Warejouwei salutes Tinubu, pledges commitment to serve Niger Delta people

The member representing the Niger Delta region in the Governing Board of the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project, HYPREP, Madam Beauty Warejuowei, has expressed her gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for her appointment.

Warejuowei expressed her gratitude in a message of appreciation during her quintuple celebration marking her divine preservation, new appointment, birthday, dedication of plaza, and an SUV car, on Sunday, April 5, 2026.

The celebration begun with a Thanksgiving service at the Sunrise Mega Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) off Jakpa Road in Effurun, and was followed by a reception ceremony at KM 5 DSC Expressway, adjacent Okpaka Junction at Otokutu, Udu in Delta State.

"This appointment is not just a personal honor, it is a responsibility and a call to serve. I am deeply grateful to Mr President for finding me worthy of this important role," she said.

The HYPREP Board Member also acknowledged the grace of the Almighty God for the opportunity to contribute her quota to bettering the lives of the Niger Delta people, stressing that public service is about making impact.

"Also, I thank God for granting me the wisdom, strength and the opportunity to contribute to the development and environmental restoration of our beloved Niger Delta region.

"Public service is not about personal gain, it is about impact; it is about ensuring that our communities experience progress, development and hope for a better future.

"I remain committed to serving with integrity, dedication, and sincere desire to make a meaningful difference," she pledged.

The quintuple celebration was attended by traditional royal fathers led by the chairman of Delta State Ijaw Traditional Rulers Forum, HRM Elder Capt. King Joseph Ijawperebo Timiyan, JP, PhD; political leaders and business, friends and well-wishers.
