IGOBA: Teibowei bows out as Bobo-led Exco to be Inaugurated May 2
The newly emerged Chief (Hon.) Friday Bobo led-executive leadership of Igoba Federated Community in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, is to be sworn-in and inaugurated into office on Saturday, May 2, 2026.
According to a notice announcing the ceremony, the swearing-in and inauguration of the new exco will hold in the Igoba Community at 10:00am prompt.
Chief Bobo, who is the Ebi-Ibananawei of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom and a former councillor, alongside other exco members emerged after a screening exercise in the community Town Hall on Friday, April 17, 2026.
Other exco members to be sworn-in and inaugurated are Mr. Wilson Ayeibo (Vice Chairman), Mr. Clement Ejoh (Secretary), Mr. Epere Ebitorofa (Public Relations Officer), Mr. Ebimiewei Matthew Tamaratuemi (Financial Secretary), and Mr. Bright Avene Dude (Treasurer).
The inauguration, earlier scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, was however moved to May 2 due to certain developments.
"All sons and daughters of Igoba Federated Community and the general public are hereby invited to the swearing-in and inauguration ceremony of the newly emerged Executive Leadership of the community on Saturday, May 2, 2026," the invitation reads.
The Chief Bobo-led Exco will take over the administration of the affairs of the creek community from the Apst. Teibowei Gift Preye-led Executive Council.
Information reaching PENGlobal indicated that plans are already in effect to ensure a successful transition ceremony.
