The 18th edition of the Amasuo-Ugeh Festival, a rich cultural event that is celebrated by the good people of oil-rich Kokodiagbene community in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, under the executive leadership of Comrade Ark Selegha, kicks off on Saturday, December 20, with its grand finale to be held on Monday, December 22, 2025.

Aimed at driving community development and boosting socialisation, this year's Amasuo-Ugeh Festival themed "Idúmu Nimi, Amá Nimi", will witness cultural dance, language competition, tug of war, drama presentation, free healthcare, among other activities lined up to make the 18th edition colourful.

Among the plethora of guests expected at the event include the Pere of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, HRM Oboro Gbaraun II (JP), Aketekpe, Agadagba, as Royal Father of the Day; High Chief Dr. Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo as Father of the Day; Mr. Sunday Omuze (MD, Sunny-Ebi Multi-Systems Ltd) as Chairman of the event; and Hon. Beauty Warejouwei as Chairlady.

Special Guest of Honour of the occasion is Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi, member representing Burutu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, while the Spiritual Father of the Day is Apostle Newman Sylvester Bebenimibo

According to the Planning Committee Chaired by Double Chief (Engr.) George Timiyan (JP) with Mr. Gabriel Ukuli as Secretary, the 18th edition of the festival promises to be fun-filled, entertaining and will serve as an avenue for the natives of the community to connect with their roots.

The highlight of entertainment at the 18th Amasuo-Ugeh Festival is musical entertainment by Dr. Alfred Izon-Ebi AKA JKing, and his Because of Love Crew.
