LATE CHIEF MRS. ESTHER IFEYINWA OKIRIKA: Message of Appreciation from the Bolowei Alias Mr. 13% Derivation Fund

With gratitude to the Almighty God, the kingdom burial of my late wife, Chief Mrs. Esther Ifeyinwa Agheghe Okirika nee Ojuederie, also known as Adorable Mama, has come and gone, with huge success recorded in the course of paying our last respect to her departed soul, on Friday, September 19, 2025.

While we continue to miss her golden presence and the void created by her absence cannot be filled in the family, and while still in our state of mourning, we however deem it proper to acknowledge those who God used to facilitate the success recorded at the funeral of my late wife.

On the above note, I sincerely thank my great king, His Royal Majesty, Oboro Gbaraun II (JP), Aketekpe, Agadagba, the Pere of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, for the honour given to me and my dear family by His Majesty and the kingdom at large, in sponsoring the burial of my beloved late wife.

Likewise, I appreciate other notable royal personalities in Delta State from both Ijaw and Urhobo kingdoms, as well as the Delta State Government led by the Executive Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, for their support and condolence messages to strengthen my humble self and my family.

I deeply appreciate the entire members of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom Traditional Council of Chiefs ably led by the Pere Gbolu, High Chief P.T. Oyagha Heavens (JP), who also chaired the Burial Planning Committee, for rallying behind myself and my family, raising resources and ensured that the funeral ceremony went as planned.

My huge gratitude also goes to the Izon-Ebidouwei, High Chief Dr. Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo, as well as to Mr. Matthew Tonlagha, for their compassionate show of love as demonstrated by the laudable support they offered towards ensuring my dear wife was given a befitting burial rite.

To the spiritual leadership and entire members of the Anglican Diocese of Warri Cathedral Church of St. Andrew along Okere Road in Warri, and those of the St. James Anglican Church at Oviorie-Ovu Kingdom, Delta State, I say a big thank you for your spiritual support, wonderful conduct of the funeral among other help rendered.

The list of supporters is endless, ranging from various government agencies, business and cultural organisations, social groups, political groups, student bodies, religious bodies, among several others. Therefore pardon my inability to mention all of your names. However, I want you all to know that your contributions in cash and kind are duly noted and highly appreciated.

I also use this medium to appreciate all those who paid me condolence visits and offered words of encouragement before, during and after the burial of my late wife. Your presence during the period of sadness helped strengthen me and reinvigorated the zeal to keep pushing, knowing the value you apportioned my personality.

To every member of the Burial Planning Committee, to all my beloved family members of the Okirika, the Ojuederie and the Chukura of Asaba; to all the media organizations, to the event planners, caterers, and every other groups that all played vital roles, I say thank you for your professionalism.

I pray the Almighty God who sees all of your hearts and works reward you all sufficiently and grant us all a fulfilled life for the glory of His name.

Thank you once again

Signed:
CHIEF DR. WELLINGTON O. OKIRIKA CON (JP) A.K.A Mr. 13% Derivation Fund
