LATE SNR. BOAN. IMELEYE WILSON OMIMI: A Spiritual Leader, Father, Mentor of Enduring Impact Laid to Rest in Benikrukru
Families, friends, and members of the Teme-ama Foundation Zion Ministry (TFZM), joined by other sympathisers, bid final farewell to the church's founder, pastor and spiritual leader, Late Snr. Boan. Imeleye Wilson Omimi, whose body was laid to rest after a Christian funeral service that held in Benikrukru Community in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, on Friday, June 19, 2026.
As captured in his biography, the late founder who transited to eternal glory at the age of 79 years, "lived a life of remarkable faith, dedication and service, leaving behind a legacy worthy of emulation."
He was born in 1947 into the esteemed family of Late Pa Lagos Imeleye, a respected indigene of the Oboro Quarter of Benikrukru Community, while his mother hailed from Oghalokpe, a prominent town in Eku situated in Ugele South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Raised within a culturally rich environment that reflected the traditions and values of both the Ijaw and Uhrobo peoples of Delta State, he benefited from a strong family foundation rooted in discipline, hard work, integrity and communal service. His early years in Benikrukru Community exposed him to the socio-cultural heritage of the Niger Delta Region, shaping his character and world view.
Coming from a family that valued unity, respect for elders and dedication to community development, he grew to embody these virtues to the best of his ability to serve the community throughout his life. His upbringing and family background played a significant role in molding him into a distinguished personality for the work of the ministry.
Having committed his life to Jesus Christ, he devoted himself wholeheartedly to the advancement of God's Kingdom through ministry and evangelism. A respected and influential preacher within the Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) church, he faithfully proclaimed the gospel until his passing.
Throughout his ministry he established several churches across Delta and Bayelsa states, contributing significantly to the growth of the Christian faith in these states. He was widely recognized for his deep spiritual insight discernment and sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit, qualities that guided his ministry on many occasions.
In response to divine direction, he later founded Teme-ama Foundation Zion Ministry church, where he served as pastor and spiritual leader with unwavering commitment until he was called to glory, transitioning peacefully at the blessed age of 79, leaving an enduring impact on countless lives through his faith, leadership and service to God.
He was blessed with a devoted wife and a loving family who stood as a testament to God's faithfulness in his life. His marriage was blessed with three children, two daughters and one son, namely Miss Ebiere Imeleye, Mrs. Endurance Ojo, and Mr. Oyis Imeleye. Through their upbringing and accomplishments, they continued to uphold the values, principles and legacy instilled in them by their father.
Beyond his immediate family, Prophet Wilson Imeleye was also blessed with eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. His role as a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather reflected his deep commitment to family, mentorship and spiritual guidance.
The generations that followed him remain a living testament to his enduring influence, preserving both his family heritage and the impact of his life's work. His family remains one of the lasting legacies of his life, carrying forward the virtues of faith, integrity, love and service that he exemplified throughout his years on earth.
May his gentle soul rest peacefully in the Bosom of the Creator, Amen.
