Lions Int'l Warri Oil City Club to Host Investiture Awards, N10m Fundraising for Impactful Projects

The Lions International District 404 -A4 Nigeria, Warri Oil City Lions Club in Delta State, is set to host its Investiture Awards and a N10 million Project Fundraising ceremony at the Monarchy Epic Arena at No. 70 Effurun Sapele Road, beside FCMB, on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
The dual ceremony is being put together by the 8th Club President, Lions Architect Stella Enebeli NLCF, alongside her Board of Directors 2025-2026 Lions Service Year.
Among the guests that are expected to grace the Investiture of Awards and Fundraising ceremony is the Chief Host, John Robinson Omonigho Okoro, Ph.D., FCA, MJF, NLCF, District Governor.
According to Arch. Enebeli, "This occasion is not just a celebration of leadership, but a call to strengthen bonds, honour selfless service and raise support for impactful projects that will touch lives within our community and beyond."
She further revealed that the N10 million Project Fundraising is to enable the Club perform its charitable and humanitarian services including the empowerment of beneficiaries for its skill acquisition scheme.
"Our Club N10 million Project Fundraising will take care of the following charity and humanity services: Construction and reticulation of solar-powered boreholes in two communities. Comprehensive healthcare project for 5,000 people.
"Others are the distribution of food items to another 5,000 people in Delta State, and donation of sewing machines to empower youth that have gone through sewing and craftsmanship training through the Warri Oil City Lions Club Skill Acquisition Mentorship Sessions," she clarified.
