NAGS CONVENTION: Gbaramatu students unveil Ubebe-led planning committee

The National Association of Gbaramatu Students (NAGS) in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State has unveiled its Convention Planning Committee (CPC) chaired by Comrade Ubebe Brakoru Kester Denyefa, ahead of its 7th Mega Elective Convention.

In a statement released by the umbrella body of students led by its President, Comrade Douye Simon, the CPC members are tasked with the duties and responsibilities to plan and to ensure a successful 7th Mega Elective Convention for the student body.

Members of the CPC are Comrades Tolar Theresa as Secretary, Maxwell Obey Douglas as Public Relations Officer (P.R.O)/Media Officer, Prince Seigha Moses Williams as Treasurer/Finance Officer, Torudon Tam Deborah as Welfare Officer.

Other CPC members are Comrades Seiyefa Juliet Bolei and Febaide Doubra Keme as Logistics Officer, Patrick Padiayefagha as Protocol Officer, Brubor Prosper and Aruwei Bibo as Security Coordinator, and Eguare Prosper as Accreditation Coordinator/Eleco.

The Convention, which has as its theme; "Culture and Identity: Preserving the Heritage, Values, and Legacy of Our People," will hold from Friday, July 24, to Sunday, July 26, 2026.

On the forthcoming 7th Mega Elective Convention, the CPC Chairman Comrade Ubebe revealed that preparations are already on top gear to host one of the biggest student body's conventions, adding that more details will be disclosed later as planning intensifies.
