The passing unto glory of late Mama Azinde Bebenimibo Nee Obigha, a native of Benikrukru Community in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, has been announced by the family.

According to a statement signed on behalf of the children by Engr Fiyena Samuel Bebenimibo, the late Mama Bebenimibo passed away at the age of 89 years on Monday, January 19, 2026, after a brief illness.

The mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who was born in 1937, will be laid to rest in her hometown, Benikrukru Community, after a social wake keep ceremony on Saturday, January 24, 2026.

Music will be supplied by Okpe European A.K.A Smalley at the funeral as families and friends honour the soul of the departed mother, sister, and aunt.

The late Bebenimibo is survived by three children whom are Engr Fiyena Samuel Bebenimibo, Mrs Christiana Friday Jorka, and Mrs Edith Bright Tortor; 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and other relatives. 

May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
