The emergence of Hon. Donald Ojogo as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives has been described as a strong endorsement of his political relevance, acceptability and enduring connection with the grassroots.

This assessment was made by the Ondo State Coordinator of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Senior High Chief Felix Idowu Asonja, while reacting to Ojogo’s victory at the party’s primary election.

In a statement posted on his verified Facebook page, Asonja said Ojogo’s emergence as the party’s flag bearer for the forthcoming general election underscores the trust and confidence party faithful and constituents continue to place in his leadership.

“As Hon. Donald Ojogo seeks re-election into the 11th House of Representatives, his success at the primary election is a reflection of the confidence reposed in him by party members and the electorate,” Asonja stated.

He noted that over the years, Ojogo has remained committed to effective representation, sustained grassroots engagement and the promotion of policies geared towards the development and welfare of the people.

According to Asonja, Ojogo’s victory was not accidental but the outcome of collective resolve, political unity and the unwavering support of leaders, stakeholders, youths, women groups and loyal supporters across the constituency who worked assiduously to ensure a successful primary exercise.

Asonja further observed that the prevailing political climate in Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency indicates growing support for progressive continuity, particularly for leaders who have demonstrated capacity, accessibility and dedication to public service. 

He said, this, without doubt, explains Ojogo’s victory as a clear indication of the people’s desire to sustain quality representation and consolidate on existing achievements.

Earlier, Ojogo had expressed appreciation to political leaders and the party structure across the constituency for their maturity, sacrifices and commitment to peace, unity and progress throughout the primary process.

As preparations for the general election gather momentum, supporters and stakeholders remain optimistic that the electorate in Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency will once again rally behind a leader whose service record and representation continue to inspire grassroots confidence.
