THANKSGIVING: St. Prahazi II Calls for Holiness, Obedience, Love at NJZ's 14th Youth Convention, Mid-Year Crossover
The General Overseer of Christ Divine & Gospel Mission (CDGM) Inc. Worldwide, His Lordship, Most Rev. Dr. Emomoemi Felix Timbor, St. Prahazi II, has called on Christians and Nigerians at large to embrace holiness, obedience to God, and to love one another in order to enjoy a fruitful life and to build a prosperous nation.
His Lordship made the call at the Thanksgiving service marking the end of the 14th Youth Convention / Mid-Year Crossover Programme, which held at the New Jerusalem Zion Ministry, Oporoza (A.K.A Word of God) Cherubim and Seraphim Church of Zion Int'l Inc. in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West council area of Delta State, on Sunday, July 5, 2026.
The programme which has as its theme "Discovering God's Will for a Fruitful Life" with Bible Texts taken from Romans 12:2 and Isaiah 1:19, was attended by other ministers of the C&S faith, including the host, Snr. Boan. Amb. Edward T. B. Ubebe, and special guests Snr. Boan. Amb. (Dr.) Nelson Ogelegbanwei, JP, and Apst. (Dr.) Mathias Zion Amaye.
Most Rev. Dr. Timbor who was the guest speaker also called on worshippers of the C&S church to be obedient to their leaders and to dedicate themselves in service to God, stressing that to be a leader one must first serve.
He also called for humility among worshippers while using aa an illustration the submissiveness of the Founder of the Living Faith Church A.K.A Winners Chapel, Pastor David Oyedepo to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, despite the former's success in ministry.
The 14th Youth Convention/Mid-Year Crossover Programme which began on Monday, June 29, 2026, was marked with prayers, praises, and culminated with Thanksgiving for a successful mid-year crossover on Sunday, July 5, 2026, in the church auditorium.
The programme also witnessed the inauguration of the executive leadership of the Gbaramatu Cherubim & Seraphim Church of Zion Youth Forum (GCSCZYF) established to promote unity, spiritual growth, leadership development, and community service among Christian youths.
The Minister-in-Charge of the NJZ, Snr. Boan. Amb. Ubebe, wrapped up the 2026 edition with thanksgiving and prayers to the Almighty God for the growth of the C&S church, a prosperous Gbaramatu Kingdom, Ijaw Nation, and Nigeria at large.
