BURUTU: Ubebe lauds Alapala for youths inclusion in governance, tasks other leaders to follow suit

A member of the Comrade Community in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, Comrade Ubebe Kester Denyefa, has lauded the honourable member representing Burutu Constituency 1 in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Alapala Anthony Ebitonmo, for his appointment of youths across Burutu, in what he described as a "model of youth engagement and inclusive governance".

Recall that the honourable member, who is the Minority Whip leader in the State's House of Assembly, recently appointed 15 youths into different roles as aides.

Responding to the development in a message of appreciation to Hon. Alapala, and congratulations to the new appointees, Comr. Ubebe stated that the appointment was a strategic one that offers room to the youths for exposure and positive future development of the grassroots.

The message reads in part, "It is with profound joy and deep admiration that i acknowledge the recently published list of appointments made by the distinguished Honourable Alapala Anthony Ebitonmo across Burutu Constituency.

"I extend my warmest congratulations to all the newly appointed comrades and, most importantly, express my heartfelt appreciation to the Honourable Member for his deliberate, visionary, and inclusive approach to leadership, particularly his thoughtful and strategic engagement of the Comrade community within Burutu Local Government Area.

"These appointments not only reflect a strong commitment to grassroots development, but also represent a forward-thinking investment in the future of the constituency. By creating platforms for young, vibrant leaders to gain exposure and experience, you have empowered a new generation with the tools, insight, and confidence needed to serve with excellence," he added.

Comr. Ubebe, who is the Clerk of the Gbaramatu Youth Council (GYC) Mobile Parliament, said the honourable member demonstrated exemplary leadership by his actions, and called on other leaders to follow in the footsteps of Hon. Alapala.

"The Comrade community, in its entirety, takes immense pride in your exemplary leadership, Honourable. Your actions embody the spirit of equity, inclusion, and sustainable political growth.

"I therefore use this medium to call on leaders across other Local Government Areas to emulate this laudable model of youth engagement and inclusive governance. As the timeless adage goes, 'He who empowers the youth, secures the future'," he opined.

Comr. Ubebe prayed for the Minority Whip leader that "divine wisdom, strength, and clarity continue to guide" his steps as he continue to serve "your people with honour and dedication."
