The burial date for the late Madam Dour Akoto, a native of Kokodiagbene and Inikorogha communities in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, has been annouced as Friday, July 18, 2025.

Recall that the late Madam Akoto passed away to the Great Beyond in Kokodiagbene community after a brief illness on Monday, July 14, 2025.

Paternally from the family of Late Ekpesin Akoto of Ugeh Quarter in Kokodiagbene community and maternally from the Eyen family in Inikorogha community, the late Madam Akoto held the position of Ama-Okosu-ere of Kokodiagbene.

She will be honoured on Friday in Kokodiagbene community with a social wake-keep ceremony, before being finally interred on Saturday.

Meanwhile sympathisers have continued to condole with the family as well as offer support as preparations are on top gear to give the late Madam Akoto a befitting burial.

May her gentle golden soul rest peacefully in the Bosom of the Almighty God, Amen.
