The Executive Director of the Endybekx Initiative for Children and Women Development (EBICWD) and pioneer President of the Association of Gbaramatu Female Graduates, Amb. (Mrs.) Endurance Nwachukwu, has described her latest recognition by the National Association of Gbaramatu Students (NAGS) as a renewed call to greater service to the Creek child, Gbaramatu Kingdom, and the Niger Delta.

Amb. Nwachukwu, who is a Senior Assistant Registrar in Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun (FUPRE), made the declaration in an appreciation message following the presentation of an Award of Appreciation to her by NAGS during its Mega Convention in Kokodiagbene Town, Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, on July 25, 2026.

The award was presented to the EBICWD Executive Director in acknowledgement of her consistent support, outstanding engagement and dedication to excellence, particularly her contributions towards educational and human capital development in riverine communities.

Expressing profound gratitude to the students' body, Amb. Nwachukwu said the latest honour holds a special place in her heart as it represents the second recognition she has received from NAGS within six years.

She recalled that on August 26, 2020, the then 2017–2020 leadership of NAGS honoured her with the Riverine Educational Development Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions and support towards educational development in Gbaramatu Kingdom.

“Six years later, to be recognised once again by the same Association is deeply humbling. More importantly, it is a reminder that consistent service, genuine engagement, and commitment to the development of our people never go unnoticed,” Amb. Nwachukwu stated.

According to the pioneer President of the Association of Gbaramatu Female Graduates, the awards go beyond personal accomplishments and instead reinforce the collective responsibility to invest in children, strengthen access to educational opportunities, empower young people and contribute meaningfully to the sustainable development of riverine communities.

“For me, these awards are not merely about personal achievement. They represent a collective responsibility to invest in our children, strengthen educational opportunities, empower young people, and contribute meaningfully to the sustainable development of our riverine communities and the Niger Delta,” she said.

Amb. Nwachukwu consequently dedicated the latest honour to every Creek child whose dreams deserve an opportunity, every young person working towards a better future and communities striving for meaningful and sustainable development.

She further thanked NAGS for recognising her contributions for the second time and for the confidence the association has continued to repose in her over the years, stressing that the honour has strengthened rather than completed her responsibility to society.

“The recognition is appreciated. The responsibility is greater. The commitment to service remains unwavering,” she declared.

The EBICWD Executive Director called on stakeholders to continue investing in education, children and young people as part of deliberate efforts to build a brighter future for Gbaramatu Kingdom and the wider Niger Delta.

“Together, let us continue to build a future where every Creek child can learn, thrive, lead, and fulfil their God-given potential. For the Creek Child. For Gbaramatu Kingdom. For the Niger Delta. For a better tomorrow,” Amb. Nwachukwu concluded.
