IBE-OKOSUWEI INSTALLATION: Okerenkoko Appreciates Gbaramatu Monarch, Chiefs, Stakeholders, Others

The leadership of Okerenkoko Federated Community and the Ibe-Okosuwei Installation Planning Committee have expressed appreciation to the Pere of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oboro Gbaraun II (JP), Aketekpe, Agadagba; the Gbaramatu Kingdom Traditional Council of Chiefs, community leaders and other stakeholders for their contributions towards the successful installation of Snr. Apostle Pa. Opuede U. Onimiyenmene as the Ibe-Okosuwei of Gbaramatu Kingdom.

The appreciation was contained in a statement jointly issued by the Chairman of Okerenkoko Federated Community, Chief Mosco Johnny, and Chairman of the Installation Planning Committee, Hon. George Ekpemupolo, following the historic ceremony.

The community leadership first expressed gratitude to God Almighty for the successful installation and conferment of the revered traditional position on Pa. Onimiyenmene, noting that the occasion was made possible through divine grace and the support of individuals, groups and institutions.

They particularly thanked the Gbaramatu monarch for his royal blessings, fatherly guidance and approval for the installation and equally commended members of the Traditional Council of Chiefs for conducting the traditional rites associated with the installation and for their support throughout the ceremony.

The committee also acknowledged chairmen and elders of various communities, dignitaries, political leaders, women and youth leaders who attended the occasion, describing their presence as a demonstration of solidarity with the people of Okerenkoko and the wider Gbaramatu Kingdom.

Special appreciation was extended to individuals and groups who made financial and material contributions towards the successful hosting of the event.

The clergy, security agencies, cultural groups and media personnel were equally commended for their respective roles and tireless services before and during the ceremony.

Chief Johnny and Hon. Ekpemupolo further thanked sons and daughters of Okerenkoko Federated Community and Gbaramatu Kingdom, as well as friends of the kingdom who travelled from far and near to witness and support the historic occasion.

The community leadership prayed that the elevation of Snr. Apst. Pa. Opuede U. Onimiyenmene as Ibe-Okosuwei would usher in greater peace, unity and prosperity for Gbaramatu Kingdom.

"We say thank you. May God Almighty reward you richly. We pray that the reign of Ibe-Okosuwei Snr. Apst. Pa. Opuede U. Onimiyenmene will bring lasting peace, unity, and more prosperity to Gbaramatu Kingdom," the statement read.
