LEADERSHIP: Inikorogha announces Ejoh as acting chairman

The people of Inikorogha Federated Community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, have announced Comrade Ejoh Ebullient Ebisinde, who was formerly elected as vice chairman, as the interim acting chairman of the community's executive leadership till further notice.
The announcement is coming weeks after the unanimous adoption of the decision by the elders and other leaders in the riverine community to officially suspend the executive chairman, Capt. William Ubebe.
According to an elder in the community, Chief Isaac Pudie, the decision to suspend the former chairman was adopted on July 7, 2025, and the duration of the suspension is indefinite.
He disclosed further that the purpose of the announcement is to intimate the general public of the change in the executive leadership affairs of the community.
He said, "We are hereby notifying the general public that Comrade Ebullient Ejoh is acting currently in the position of chairman of Inikorogha Federated Community.
"This announcement follows the suspension of the executive chairman in the person of Capt. William Ubebe, until further notice.
"The general public are hereby cautioned to cease to transact business or to discuss any issue in relation to Inikorogha Federated Community, but they should instead liaise with Comrade Ejoh, the acting chairman. Doing otherwise is to their their own peril.
"The general public will be notified through this channel or other means when the suspension of Capt. Ubebe is unanimously lifted," he added.
On his suspension as the executive chairman of Inikorogha Federated Community, Capt. Ubebe held sway for only five months in that position. He was inaugurated into office on Friday, February 7, 2025.
