TRANSITION: Boan. Mrs. Eduwokumor Okpirin Nafami Nee Uttoh passes on, for burial March 13 in Kunukunuma

Boan. Mrs. Eduwokumor Okpirin Nafami Nee Uttoh, a native of Gbaramatu Kingdom in the Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, has passed on to eternal glory on Friday, February 6, 2026, after a brief illness at the age of 80 years.

The death was announced by the family in a statement issued to the public and signed by Pa. Elder (Dr.) Isaac Ukuli on behalf of the family and by Mr. Nafami Jeremiah on behalf of the children, on Saturday.

According to the statement, the body of the Late Boan. Mrs. Eduwokumor will leave the Ame Specialist Hospital in Warri by 7am to her hometown, Kunukunuma Federated Community, via the Miller Waterfront Jetty near NPA, on Friday, March 13, 2026.

On arrival in Kunukunuma, a lying in state, Christian funeral service, and interment ceremony follows, as well as entertainment of guests.

The Late Boan. Mrs. Eduwokumor hails from the Bekenawei Family of Ebiabu Quarter in Kokodiagbene Community and from Igbai Quarter in Kunukunuma Community, and from the Ekpemuta Family of Bralabor Quarter in Benikrukru Community, all in Gbaramatu Kingdom.

She is survived by four children namely Nafami Jeremiah, Emmanuel Nafami, Margaret Okirika, and Comfort Nafami; grandchildren among other relatives and friends.

May her golden soul rest in peace.
