Chief Pedro Tuwayerin Bekenawei, who is aspiring for the House of Representatives in Warri Federal Constituency, Delta State, under the platform of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has successfully picked up his Nomination Form of the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Chief Bekenawei, in a brief statement on WhatsApp, disclosed he secured the NDC Nomination Form in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, on Monday, June 8, 2026.

With the Nomination Form, Chief Bekenawei said he is now viable to represent the party in the 2027 general elections for the Warri Federal Constituency in his desire to serve the people.

He thanked his supporters and fans of the party for the support he received during the primary election, while urging them to sustain the tempo going into the general elections.

Chief Bekenawei, a former chairman of oil-rich Kokodiagbene Community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, was formerly a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) before his resignation to run on the platform of the NDC.
