As the Double Chief turns Plus One on this day (Tuesday, March 3, 2026), I recall back, in a little more than half a decade ago, how the conviction of the Chairman of Izon-Ibe Welders and Fitters Association helped propel the establishment of the media brand, PENGlobal. Though, only a few I had shared this testimony with, while the birth of the business and social brand promotional agency had a divine backing, the role of the Double Chief was instrumental in its formation.

At its inception, the Double Chief did not only just urge the birth of the platform, but personally mobilised support by way of engagements. His conviction was unwavering, and his belief in my ability was never in doubt. Over the years, his role in the success of PENGlobal has not diminished. Till this day he continues to stay the course, utilising every single opportunity to promote the brand.

Unlike what others in his position would have done, on the contrary he has always demonstrated practically the parable, "Business grows when family and friends pay for services rendered." Never for once has he cashed in on the position he occupies in the brand's establishment to seek free services or call in undue favours.

The passion of the Double Chief towards the growth of the brand is never theoretical. A major act of his support for its growth saw him ready to outsource a space in his office for use by the brand. Such was his contributions that practically showcases his desire for its success.

In recognition of his good intentions and invaluable contributions, the PENGlobal brand honoured the Double Chief with the Brand Maker Of All Time award in the early part of the year 2025. The award was presented to him in honour at his office by the former Speaker of the Gbaramatu Youth Council Mobile Parliament, Frank Ekpemupolo Esq.

Double Chief, you have indeed shown what it means to be a true brother, leader, friend, counsellor, and supporter. We celebrate you with deepest gratitude and appreciation for your steadfast support and positive actions that have led to where we are at this moment in time.

The lesson here is that when we lift up others, we end up lifting up ourselves. Today you are lifted up because you first choose to lift others up. God bless your new age!
