GLORIOUS HOME CALL: Late Chief Mrs Esther Ifeyinwa Okirika Goes Home to Rest September 19th

The body of late Mrs. Esther Ifeyinwa Okirika Nee Ojuederie, who passed on to eternal glory on the 25th of August 2025, at the age of 75 years, will be laid to eternal rest after a funeral service at the St. James Anglican Church in Ovu Town, Ethiope East council area of Delta State, on the morning of Friday, September 19, 2025.

This is contained in a burial notice that was signed by Chief Samuel Okirika for the family and by Chief Clark Gbenewei for the Traditional Council of Chiefs of ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom.

An outing service follows 10:00 a.m. in the St. Anglican Diocese of Warri Cathedral Church of St. Andrew at No. 22 Okere Road, Warri, on Sunday, 21st September, 2025.

The late Mrs. Esther Ifeyinwa Okirika who hails from the family of Chief Jigere B. Ojuederie of Ovu Town, Agbon Clan, Ethiope East, is survived by her husband, High Chief Dr. Wellington O. Okirika, C.O.N., the Bolowei of ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom A.K.A. Mr. 13% Derivation Fund, and two children: Mrs. Ngozi Walade Okirika Egwueke and Mrs. Ayi Grace Okirika Overare; three grandchildren, brothers, sisters, cousins, nephews, nieces, and other relatives.

Until her death, she was a dedicated member of St. Andrew's Cathedral Anglican Communion and Diocesan Women Anglican Communion Warri. She was also a chief in ancient Gbaramatu, Kabowei, Seimbiri and Akumaze Umuocha kingdoms.

A service of songs memorial was held in her honour at the St. Andrew's Cathedral Anglican Communion and Diocesan Women Anglican Communion in Warri on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.

May her soul rest in peace. Amen.
