KUNUKUNUMA CHAIRMANSHIP: Ari Accepts Nomination, Pledges Transparent, Selfless Leadership
Mr. Felix F. Ari has formally accepted his nomination for the chairmanship of Kunukunuma Federated Community in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, pledging to provide transparent, accountable and service-driven leadership if elected.
Ari, whose nomination was presented by some members of the Ugbai Idumu Quarter, announced his acceptance in a statement addressed to leaders, elders, women, men and youths of the community on Sunday, August 16, 2026.
Describing himself as a proud and patriotic son of Kunukunuma, the chairmanship hopeful expressed gratitude to the Ugbai Idumu Quarter and members of the wider community for the confidence reposed in him to seek the leadership position.
According to him, his decision to accept the nomination is driven by a desire to serve and contribute meaningfully to the collective growth and development of the federated community rather than the pursuit of title or status.
“I am deeply honoured by the trust placed in me by the Ugbai Idumu Quarter and the wider community,” Ari stated.
He further pledged that his leadership, if given the mandate, would be anchored on transparency, accountability and selfless service, with emphasis on promoting unity and working for the common interest of residents of Kunukunuma.
Ari stressed that sustainable progress could only be achieved when the people work together with a shared vision, assuring that he would promote inclusiveness and cooperation in tackling challenges confronting the community.
“Together, as one united people with a shared vision, we will transform our challenges into opportunities and secure a brighter future for Kunukunuma Federated Community,” he added.
The chairmanship hopeful, under the platform of Team Ari Felix, therefore called on members of the community to support his aspiration, declaring: “Vote Experience. Vote Service.”
He also reaffirmed his commitment to the peace, unity and advancement of Kunukunuma Federated Community and the larger Gbaramatu Kingdom.
Ari's acceptance has further heightened the political atmosphere of Kunukunuma as he joins other contenders in the race to the chairmanship position that is gathering momentum.
