KUNUKUNUMA CHAIRMANSHIP: Ari Unveils Five-Point Agenda, Pledges Inclusive, Transparent Leadership
Mr. Felix Fidesegha Ari, an aspirant for the chairmanship position of Kunukunuma Federated Community in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, has unveiled a five-point development agenda anchored on unity, human capital development, education, infrastructure, transparency and accountability.
Ari, who is seeking the mandate of the people under the campaign theme, “United in Purpose, Transparent in Leadership, Stronger in Development,” said his ambition is driven by a desire to harness the enormous potential of Kunukunuma through responsible and inclusive leadership.
According to the chairmanship hopeful, Kunukunuma Federated Community can achieve greater progress when its people are united and when elders, youths, women, families, quarters and other stakeholders are given a voice in the affairs of the community.
Unveiling his five fundamental pillars, Ari listed Unity and Inclusive Governance, Human Capital Development, Educational Confidence for Children, Community Infrastructure Development, and Transparency and Accountability as the core priorities that would guide his administration if elected.
On unity and inclusive governance, he pledged to run an administration that respects every quarter and stakeholder irrespective of differences in opinion, background or status, while promoting consultation, dialogue, mutual respect and peaceful resolution of disagreements.
Ari also promised to invest in human capital development, particularly through vocational training, entrepreneurship, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), mentorship and other initiatives capable of creating sustainable livelihoods for youths, women and other members of the community.
In the area of education, the chairmanship aspirant pledged support for literacy, mentorship and scholarship initiatives, as well as recognition of academic excellence among children of the community. He said such programmes would help build confidence, discipline and leadership qualities in the younger generation.
On infrastructure, Ari promised to collaborate with relevant stakeholders, government authorities and development partners to identify and execute priority projects that address the genuine needs of Kunukunuma people.
He further assured residents that transparency and accountability would be central to his leadership, stressing that community resources would be properly documented, prudently managed and deployed solely for the collective benefit of the people.
Making his pledge to the electorate, Ari said: “I pledge to serve with humility, fairness, integrity and dedication. I will respect the wisdom of our elders, engage our youths, recognize the vital role of our women, and work with every quarter, family and stakeholder,” adding that his ultimate vision is to build “One Community, One Vision, One Purpose, One United People” committed to sustainable development.
Ari therefore appealed to the people of Kunukunuma Federated Community for their prayers, confidence, support and mandate to enable him translate his development agenda into reality.
“My dear people of Kunukunuma Federated Community, I humbly ask for your support, prayers, confidence and mandate,” he appealed.
