KYDM 2026: Aduke Declares for Assistant Financial Secretary, Promises Accountability, Unity and Growth

A youth aspirant in Kokodiagbene community in the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, Comrade Aduke Victor, popularly known as Oboku, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Assistant Financial Secretary of the Kokodiagbene Youth Development Movement (KYDM), pledging to promote accountability, unity, and sustainable growth within the youth body.

Aduke, who hails from Ebiabu Quarters in Kokodiagbene Community, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, said his decision to join the race followed extensive consultations with family members, friends, youth leaders, stakeholders, and supporters who encouraged him to offer himself for service.

While announcing his ambition, the aspirant described the office of Assistant Financial Secretary as one that requires integrity, transparency, commitment, and a strong sense of responsibility, and assured members that, if elected, he would work harmoniously with other executive members to ensure proper financial documentation, accountability, and efficient management of the Movement's financial records in line with the KYDM Constitution.

According to him, "My aspiration is driven by a genuine desire to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of the KYDM and to strengthen members' confidence in its leadership through openness and responsible financial administration," he said.

Presenting his campaign agenda, Aduke said his vision is built on three core pillars—Accountability, Unity, and Growth.

"I will support transparent financial processes, accurate record-keeping, and regular reporting to members.

"I also pledge to foster peaceful coexistence, inclusiveness, and cooperation among all youths, irrespective of quarters, family affiliations, or political differences.

“Lastly, I promise to support programmes and initiatives that would enhance youth participation, empowerment, capacity development, and the overall progress of the Movement," he added.

The aspirant emphasized that his ambition is not driven by personal interest, but by a sincere commitment to serving the youth and contributing to the continued development of Kokodiagbene Community.

He therefore appealed to members of the Kokodiagbene Youth Development Movement to support his candidacy with their prayers and votes, expressing confidence that, together, they can build a more united, accountable, and progressive KYDM.
