The Lawurufied Youth Movement, on behalf of their principal, High Chief Promise Lawuru, has charged Deltans in the Warri Federal Constituency that comprises Warri South, Warri South-West and Warri North local government areas in Delta State, to choose wisely a representative of the constituency that is committed to promoting peace and harmony towards a united Warri.

The Movement was led by Hon. Bebenimibo Nimide Gloria, who, alongside other members of the support group paid a courtesy visit to Agbassa Community in Warri South LGA of the state, on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

"The visit is to create awareness for them to choose wisely on their Representative, a better Representative, a man (leader) who has vision and the interest of the people at heart," said Hon. Bebenimibo on the purpose of the visit.

Speaking on the qualifications and attributes of her principal who is vying for a seat in the House of Representatives come 2027, Hon. Bebenimibo stated that Lawuru is a man of action and a leader to be trusted.

She said, "High Chief Promise Lawuru is that Leader that has the capacity to translate vision into reality; a leader that is full of vision—not just vision, but good dreams and good aims, goal, governance. A man of action, not just words, but talk and do.

"Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act," she added.

Hon. Bebenimibo who noted that "High Chief Promise Lawuru is the man" and better candidate for the Constituency called on those in the grassroots to "Support High Chief Promise Lawuru for House of Representatives Warri Federal Constituency."

The visit to Agbasa was marked with sensitization on the viability of High Chief Lawuru as a better suitable candidate the people should believe in.

Other highlights of the sensitization visit include the distribution of free foods to participants and those in attendance at the event.

Recall that the Egbema-born leader, High Chief Lawuru, declared his interest to contest for the House of Representatives representing Warri Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
