The Gbaramatu Interdenominational Christian Fellowship (GICF) as led by its Chairman and Vice Chairman, Pastor Samuel T. Ukuli and Apst. (Dr.) Mathias Zion Amaye, respectively, on behalf of the entire members, offer its heartfelt message of condolence to the Chairman of Delta State Board of Scholarship / Students Bursary, Amb. Shadrach Lucky Agediga, and his family, on the recent passing to eternal glory of their golden mother, LATE MAMA BINKAYAI UYABRADE ENEREKPEMI AGEDIGA (Nee ARUWEI).

This is a trying time for the Founder of the Shedrack Agediga Foundation (SAF) who, some time ago, laid to rest his dear brother, and was himself miraculously pulled through an illness that resulted in Thanksgiving at the Jesus Dominion Mission.

Just when we thought it was time for joy and happiness, the passing of the late MAMA BINKAYAI UYABRADE ENEREKPEMI AGEDIGA (Nee ARUWEI) has once again thrown the family into sadness and mourning.

While we acknowledged that Mama crossed 100 years and as such she lived a long life, nonetheless, mother is golden and is irreplaceable. We are therefore moved to console with the Agediga Family and the Aruwei Family on this sad loss and to urge them to be strong in this trying time.

Moreso, we urge them to comport themselves in line with the words of scriptures from the Holy Book as recorded in 1 Thessalonians 4:13 (NIV) which states that, "Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope".

Death is a ritual we must all go through in the same way we came into this life through birth. However, our hope is in Christ, who Himself tasted death but death could not hold Him as He rose again and ascended into the Heavenly realm. Someday He will return as promised on the Day of Resurrection and death will be no more!

Our prayers for you all is that the Almighty God give you the strength to be strong and to have unshakeable faith in Him as you prepare to give Mama a befitting funeral. Also, long life is our portion in Jesus name, Amen.
